Our Story

We found a home in Paso Robles, by way of Miami, New York, Los Angeles, show business, vintage trailer restoration, wine making, a baby, and a global pandemic…

Once in a while you visit a place that calls to you. You may be there on vacation or just passing through and something resonates. You don’t know why, can’t quite put your finger on any one aspect, but it tugs at the back of your mind begging you to return. For Jeff and Dina Hevert, Paso Robles and the Central Coast is that place. Jeff was a reality TV producer and executive living in Los Angeles with his wife, Dina, who worked in TV sales. On any road trip up North, Jeff would tell Dina he wanted to show her this little town called Paso Robles. There’s just something about the Central Coast, he’d say. The majestic anicent oaks. The rolling hills of gold. The undeveloped coast. The wine. And the wild west entrepreneurial spirit.

Both being from Florida, owning a vineyard and making wine didn’t really ever seem in the cards… Until one day Jeff made a TV show about restoring vintage trailers. Dina had the ingenious idea to buy some land, restore some tin can trailers with what Jeff had learned, and start a glamping retreat. So they did. They fell in love with the land, the nature, and the wine. People came. More people came. And more people still. And everyone loved what they had built and shared in the magic. Then came a baby, Ty, and a global pandemic.

Their 10 year plan became their “why are we waiting?” new life. They decided a return to nature, a slower, deliberate, life of physical work in nature was their calling. Rehabbing a neglected old vineyard, creating hand crafted fine wine, gorgeous glamping sites, and building lasting memories with family and friends was what life is really all about.

And here we are, happily ever after.
